things I’m excited about

1. I won a $10 Amazon.com gift certificate and bought this with it. I’m wicked excited to spend some quality time listening to this album. What I have heard so far I love. Its amazing. 2. I’m not going to lie. I’m excited the Patriots won the AFC championship and are headed back to the Superbowl. I’m not a fair weather Patriots fan. I lived in Boston last year and grew up in Massachusetts so I’m a huge fan. Being born in between two amazing and very loving but total jock brothers gave me a deep love for football since I was about 6. My dad and younger brother are both NY Giants fans, my older brother and I are Patriots fans. We always have a really fun Superbowl party with our neighbors.   I like having small things to be excited about. It really makes me think about the many blessings God gives us in different sizes. It’s easy for me to just focus on the big stuff like my job search, etc. and not take pleasure in small things. I’m trying to have a really positive outlook at life this winter. Winters in New England are cold, hard, and long so its easy to get down but I have been blessed a ton in life and I’m focusing on that.

a must-buy

This comes out today and I’m kind of excited about it! Though I doubt I’ll get my copy today because I can’t find a store in Springfield that has it yet!

I need a better title for this blog. Any suggestions?

This is why I started this blog. I am home from work. Waiting out this latest Nor’ester. For those of you who don’t know me, I live in Massachusetts, I know you thought Alaska when you first saw that picture. The pic is of my backyard. The upside of only working part time at the radio station is that I get to stay home today and not go out driving in this mess. Any suggestions on what I should do on my day off at home?
